Dialogue with Scholarly Communications
Learn what’s new, share your recommendations and hear about improvements Thursday, Oct. 24 from 10-11 a.m. in Mullins Room 104.
Pack the Pantry
From Oct. 28 to Nov. 1, you can donate non-perishable food items and hygiene items, such toothpaste and menstrual products, to the campus food pantry by using the bin that will be located in the West Lobby.
Spotlight on Student Media
You’re invited to Spotlight Student Media, an Archives Month event, Tuesday, Oct. 29. From 4:30-5:30, drop in to the Digital Services Unit to check out the progress they’ve made digitizing the U of A yearbooks and student newspaper. Then at 5:30, head over to the Special Collections Reading Room for a panel discussion with campus media leaders.
Fall Teambuilding Event
The Staff Concerns Committee invites all library personnel to the 2019 annual Fall Team-Building Event, which will take place in the break room of Mullins on Thursday, October 31st from 12:30-2:30pm. There will be food and door prizes. There is a food sign-up sheet on the fridge in the break room for anybody who wishes to volunteer to bring food to this event.

Research Compliance Instructional Session on Human Subjects Research
Join the OSC and Jason Ramage, assistant vice chancellor for Research and Innovation, for an instructional session Friday, Nov. 1 from 10-11 a.m. in MULN 104.
Student and Faculty Open Forums
Dean Clark will host two open forums Nov. 7 in the Walton Reading Room: one for faculty at 9 and one for students at 10:30.
Graduate Student Speaker Series
Airic Hughes, a doctoral candidate in history, will present Through the Heart of the City: I-630 and the Re-segregation of Little Rock at 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, in Mullins Library Room 130.
