A display of six Halloween-themed books from the Children's Literature Collection: Mary who Wrote Frankenstein, a pop-up book, Through the Woods, Unexplained, The Hallo-wiener, and Herbert's First Halloween

Halloween is this Sunday, and education librarian Laura Cameron has curated a virtual exhibit of Halloween-themed titles from the Children’s Literature Collection for spooks and sprites of all sizes, from the silly to the spine-tingling. The exhibit offers online videos of narrators reading picture books for small children, as well as summaries of physical books from the collection.

The Children’s Literature Collection features books for children from birth to age 18. The collection is offered in support of College of Education and Health Professions students as well as the broader campus community. All are welcome to stop by the main floor of Mullins Library to find the perfect picture book, young adult novel or graphic novel to help get into the Halloween spirit.
