Undergraduate students from all disciplines are invited to submit a research abstract to the U of A’s Undergraduate Research Week Poster Competition. For each of theĀ nine research categories, a $100 prize will be awarded for first place, $75 for second place and $50 for third place. Submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13.

Abstract guidelines are available on theĀ submission form website. Submissions will be reviewed by delegates from the Division of Research and Innovation, Honors College and University Libraries. All research is welcome, including creative and experimental projects.

Those selected for the poster round will be notified by Feb. 15 and must prepare a research presentation video that will be included in the virtual event the week of April 17. Posters and accompanying recorded presentations will be due by April 3. U of A faculty will judge the poster presentations and select three winners in each category to receive cash prizes. Though judging will take place virtually, students will also be invited to present at an in-person poster session April 20 that is open to the campus and community. Printing costs for the in-person poster session will be covered for all presenters.
