Zotero is a free program that allows users to collect, organize and cite research publications as they write. Zotero is also a robust platform for taking notes, managing quotes and paraphrasing sources.
As part of the Razorback Researcher Seminar Series, the University Libraries will offer four online workshops on using Zotero. Sessions are set for:
- Monday October 20, 2-3 p.m.
- Tuesday October 21, 11am-12.p.m.
- Wednesday October 22, 4:30-5:30.p.m.
- Thursday October 23, 3:30-4:30.p.m.
- Friday October 24, 9:30-10:30.a.m.
During the seminar, participants will learn:
- How to create a Zotero account,
- How to install the program and configure your browser to collect and manage citations, and
- how to use Zotero with Microsoft Word to insert and format in-text references, endnotes and footnotes.
The Libraries are now offering Zotero Office Hours. Appointments can be scheduled online.
