Levels 3 and 4 will close Friday, Dec. 20. Furniture will be moving, and updated floor plans are now available.
Beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, the campus is invited to make some noise in Mullins Library before the third and fourth floors close for renovation.
Join the University Libraries’ Special Collections division for a Student Showcase at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, in Mullins Library room 130. Students will present on the exhibits they’ve curated, art projects they’ve created and research projects they’ve completed using Special Collections materials.
Dennis Clark, dean of University Libraries, will present plans and take questions Nov. 7 regarding the renewal of the third and fourth floors of Mullins Library.
The first major renovation of Mullins Library in more than 20 years is scheduled begin at the end of the Fall 2019 semester.
University Libraries’ new high-density annex opened this summer, providing a climate-controlled environment for the university’s growing library collection of books and other materials, while freeing up needed space in Mullins Library, the main research library on campus.
