The University of Arkansas Libraries are pleased to host Sam King, associate director and coordinator of foundations for the School of Art, in the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development Auditorium from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26. King will offer a brief introduction to the essential properties of color, explain those properties’ functions in color interaction, and provide some examples of color’s role, both in everyday experience and in works of art.

After the talk, a recording will be made available as an open educational resource within the university’s institutional repository, ScholarWorks@UARK.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch. Iced tea and water will be provided.

This event was coordinated for Open Access Week 2017.
