Kim Larsen

Students can now drop in to the Writing Studio in the Cordia Harrington Center for Excellence from 2-4 p.m. each Wednesday for the remainder of the Fall 2022 semester to receive research and writing help from Kim Larsen, undergraduate engagement librarian.

“The writing studio and the library really go hand in hand when it comes to research projects and papers that students are writing, so this partnership is one that we believe just makes sense,” Larsen said. “We want to lean on both of our areas of expertise and be able to refer students seamlessly between our experts without making them feel as though we’re turning them away for help at a specific location. Having the option to get help for both research and writing at one location, without having to make an appointment, can help ease student fears and anxieties about reaching out for help.”

These drop-in sessions are available to students of all majors who are doing research or writing. The Writing Studio is located in CORD 209.
