Movers have finished with the circulating collections on Level 4 of Mullins Library and are now at work on moving manuscript collections from Special Collections as well as collections from our current Library Storage Annex, LISA.
In the Government Documents collection, some items have been moved to remote storage, while others will be sent to the Reference Collection area during renovation.
Over the next month, collections remaining in Mullins Library will be shifted and consolidated to prepare for the renovations of Levels 3 and 4. We’ll be updating floor maps, call number guides and other materials as items are relocated in the building. Can’t find an item on the shelf? Pending final construction to-dos, library staff hope to be able to occupy the new remote facility in the next week and plan to begin regular deliveries from that building multiple times a day on August 1. In the meantime, please do use the In Transit / Chapter Scans / Article Scans buttons on the catalog to request that we obtain copies of materials you need that are currently marked “In Transit.” More about requesting “In Transit” materials.
