The Libraries will be launching an entirely new way to log in to our resources from off-campus in January 2020.  OpenAthens is an authentication system that provides access to our licensed online resources via single sign-on (SSO) technology. OpenAthens is more secure and less error-prone than the legacy proxy server technology the Libraries have used for the last few decades.

Ready to see OpenAthens in action?  We’re inviting everyone to test some links from off-campus and then tell us about their experience.   There are more than 150 test links–so far–so please don’t feel like you need to test them all! Just select a few of your favorites to try out.
