Future Plans: I plan to look for a full-time position here on the UA campus, and then work towards my masters.

Sierra Upgrade planned for Tuesday, May 14
The Libraries will be upgrading our catalog system, Sierra, on Tuesday, May 14. We expect the system to be offline from 9-11a.m.   

During that time, the library catalog, Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad), remote access to library electronic resources, and Index Arkansas will also be unavailable.

You can refer to our Research Guide, “Down But Not Out,” for tips on locating items in our collection when the library catalog is offline.

Cedar Claire Middleton has accepted a Member appointment for the ACRL/WGSS Awards Committee. Her Member term will be July 01, 2019 to June 30, 2020. Well done, Cedar!

Registration for ALPS InfoBits 2019 is Open!
ALPS InfoBits 2019 – Friday, May 17 @ Garland County Library, Hot Springs

The Arkansas Library Paraprofessionals annual InfoBits event is an opportunity for paraprofessionals from across the state to come together to network and learn together. This year’s topics include working with student workers, challenging patrons, using Google, and more! On Thursday, May 16 at 6 PM ALPS will hold a pre-InfoBits Networking event, Painting & Pizza. ALPS Historian Stewart Fuell will be leading the painting portion of the event. Both events are FREE and open to all however, registration is required.
