Ceres Digitization Funding
We (Necia Parker-Gibson, Agriculture Librarian, and PI for the project, Martha Anderson, head of Digital Services, Rachel Paul, Cataloging Librarian) have been given two more awards for digitization of Arkansas’s agricultural publications under Project Ceres, a collaboration between the Center for Research Libraries (CRL), USAIN, and AgNIC. The most recent award is $4400.00 to digitize the Arkansas Experiment Station’s Annual Report, and the other, $7500.00 is to finish the Miscellaneous Publications (MP) and to begin digitization of the Mimeograph Series, which later became the Research Series for the Experiment Station. These are the latest of several awards, which previously were used to produce the digital copies of the Arkansas Extension Service Circular, the Bulletin, Arkansas Experiment Station, and the first part of the MPs.

Kathleen Lehman would like to give a shout out to Sherryl Faulkner-Robinson who presented at the national IUG conference in Phoenix last week. Matthew Kelly reported that she did an awesome job on her presentation, which was “Full Time Supervision for the Part Time Employee.” Way to go, Sherryl!
