Welcome, Jennie!
Jennie Allred was born and graduated high school in Utah, but otherwise spent most of her growing up years in Southern California and then Hawaii. She is the oldest of five children and has loved books and libraries all her life.
Three Weird Questions:
Describe yourself in three words.
Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!
What’s the longest book you’ve ever read?
Paradise Lost – maybe not the longest page-wise, but it was a steep climb for sure!
What was your all-time, best-ever Halloween costume?
I’ve had some good ones, but the best was a few years ago – I went to a Star Wars themed party as George Lucas J
Basically I catalog theses and dissertations written by our graduate students. I’m learning lots of new words (I’m talking to you, Chemistry Department).
From the Innovative Review Committee
We’re updating the way library locations appear in the library catalog to be more readable and informative.
FAL will become Fine Arts Library, PHYS will become Physics Library and MEDIA will become Performing Arts and Media.
We hope this will make for a friendlier, LESS SHOUTY catalog experience for everyone!
