Welcome back to a semester unlike any other. Your Libraries are working hard to update our services and spaces to accommodate changes made necessary by COVID-19. And our website is adapting, too.
You may notice the engaging new look but underneath the snazzy are some structural and link changes of note:
Search Box
The Main Search Box remains the same, with options for QuickSearch, the Library Catalog, Journals, Databases, and Course Reserves.
Note that our course reserves system has been updated. You can now find all library materials requested by instructors here. They will also be linked in your Blackboard class. Read more about course reserves…
Collections, Services, and Contact Info
Replacing our left menu are new directory pages for Libraries and Collections, Services, and general information About the Libraries.
The new Services page offers custom links for researchers, instructors, and community members, in addition to general information about using the Libraries.
Virtual Services
As the campus pivots to remote learning and online classes we are working hard to make our services and collections available to any student, anywhere. We continue to offer 24/7 assistance by chat as part of a global network of librarians, research consultations and classes from your subject librarians, and more than a million e-books and e-journals. Read more about our Virtual Services.
Your Subject Librarians
Your subject librarian is your research super power! Find the librarian who is an expert in your field, browse their Research Guides, make a research consultation appointment, or schedule a class.
News and New Materials
As before, you will find links to new books, database trials, and headlines from 365 McIlroy, the Libraries’ blog. Once the campus can return to more in-person activities, you will also find library events in the news area.
COVID-19 Updates
We continue to update our entire website with information reflecting service and policy changes related to COVID-19. Visit our Fall 2020 page for important updates in one place.
