New Faculty Spaces Available in Mullins Library
With Phase I of the Mullins Library renovation complete, new spaces have been added for U of A faculty members, including a reading room and individual faculty carrels.
With Phase I of the Mullins Library renovation complete, new spaces have been added for U of A faculty members, including a reading room and individual faculty carrels.
The newly renovated spaces offer increased seating, updated technology and a variety of rooms for study and instruction, including faculty and graduate student lounges, lecture rooms and study carrels.
The first phase of construction in Mullins Library is nearing completion, and the renovated third and fourth floors are expected to reopen by the end of August.
Levels 3 and 4 will close Friday, Dec. 20. Furniture will be moving, and updated floor plans are now available.
Beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, the campus is invited to make some noise in Mullins Library before the third and fourth floors close for renovation.
Join the University Libraries’ Special Collections division for a Student Showcase at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, in Mullins Library room 130. Students will present on the exhibits they’ve curated, art projects they’ve created and research projects they’ve completed using Special Collections materials.
