With the help of campus faculty and students, the Libraries continually fine-tune our journal offerings to best match research and teaching needs.

Following are some of the new journal subscriptions added in 2015:

Archives of Virology

Archives of Virology

publishes original contributions from all branches of research on viruses, virus-like agents, and virus infections of humans, animals, plants, insects, and bacteria. Coverage spans a broad spectrum of topics, from descriptions of newly discovered viruses, to studies of virus structure, composition, and genetics, to studies of virus interactions with host cells, organisms and populations. Studies employ molecular biologic, molecular genetics, and current immunologic and epidemiologic approaches. Contents include studies on the molecular pathogenesis, pathophysiology, and genetics of virus infections in individual hosts, and studies on the molecular epidemiology of virus infections in populations.

Biblical Archaeology Review

Biblical Archaeology Review

is a part of a new database, Biblical Archaeology Society Online Archive. This collection offers current and past issues of the Review back to 1975 as well as selected reference works on archaeology and religion. Biblical Archaeology Review offers accessible articles and news on the archaeology of the Middle East, specifically regions documented in the Bible.

It encompasses the breadth of microbial ecology and topics of particular concentration include, but are not limited to, the integration of genomics and post-genomics approaches into studies of microbial activities, interactions and phylogeny; interactions among microorganisms and between microbes and their eukaryotic hosts, including plant, animal and human diseases and symbioses; understanding of biotic/abiotic interactions in situ and microbial drivers of biogeochemical cycles; integrated advances in environmental biotechnology; impacts of global change on microbial communities and processes; theoretical advances in microbial population and community ecology.

Nature Geoscience

Journal of Affective Disorders

publishes papers concerned with affective disorders in the widest sense: depression, mania, anxiety and panic. It is interdisciplinary and aims to bring together different approaches for a diverse readership. Articles cover all aspects of affective disorders, including biochemistry, pharmacology, endocrinology, genetics, statistics, epidemiology, psychodynamics, classification, clinical studies and studies of all types of treatment.
