Database News Post Helps You Make Your Case with Polls, Stats, and Opinion
Beth Juhl’s latest Database News post over at 365 McIlroy highlights Polling the Nations and Statistical Abstract, two databases provided by the Libraries that can help users support arguments in research papers, start speeches with stunning statistics, or merely make a forceful point at the holiday the dinner table. The post also links to CQ Researcher, consumer data resources, ICPSR, other freely available sites, and even Arkansas Poll, a University-ran poll that recently found only subtle shifts in state partisanship, but notable shifts on issues. Thank you, Beth!

E-Waste Recycling at University of Arkansas
You may still get questions from time to time about E-Waste recycling drop-off locations, of which Mullins used to be one. As a reminder, those locations now are: Administration Building – 4th floor; Facilities Maintenance – past the key office; Grad Ed Building – 1st floor student lounge; Kimpel Hall – 1st floor; Old Main – 5th floor; The Parking Spot in the Harman Garage; Uptown – 1st floor, west wing.  If you are here in Mullins, leave items in your outgoing mailstop or drop items off down in shipping. And stay-tuned for an exciting story out of Tech Services regarding our microfiche recycling efforts!
