The Homestead Series Continues at Tusk & Trotter

Kat Robinson, an Arkansas-based food and travel writer, will be sharing her wit and wisdom while “Tracing the Roots of Arkansas’ Restaurant Culture” on 9/28 at 6pm at Tusk & Trotter in Bentonville. Part of the proceeds from this series benefit Arkansauce, The Journal of Arkansas Foodways (Kat was the guest editor on the last issue of Arkansauce!).  Next Monday’s menu features steak tartare with paddlefish roe, pickled egg, and lemon curd; crawfish on local greens with creole remoulade dressing; double boned French cut ham chop with butternut squash puree; and chocolate chip ice cream with a Nutella cookie, high south granola, and chocolate sauce.  Call 479-268-4494 for reservations.

SharePoint for Digital Projects with Martha Parker

This presentation is intended to cover the use of SharePoint to manage digital projects.  SharePoint is a very efficient tool utilized in the Digital Services Unit to track and to share information while collaborating on team projects. Anyone involved on digital projects in any capacity, anyone interested in learning how to manage team projects through SharePoint for their specific departmental unit, or anyone who would like to reduce the amount of emails exchanged while collaborating on team projects will benefit from this session.  Two sessions left – tomorrow at 2pm and Thursday at 9am – catch either in MULN 472B. Sign up online.
